What benefits do I get from Associate Membership? Associate Members have access to all SEIU Local 888 offices; assistance and support from union staff for organizing, public relations and politics; as well as legal advice from the local’s legal team.  In addition, SEIU Local 888 Associate Members are eligible for two types of benefits:

• Opportunities for Activism: Associate members can become active with Local 888 in the city or town where they live. We actively encourage associate members to get in touch with other SEIU members they know or with their central labor council to find out how to get involved in fighting for worker friendly legislation and in helping get friends of labor elected to office.
• Group Rates for Services: Through SEIUMB.com, Associate Members are eligible for hundreds of discounted services and a great scholarship program. Money and insurance related services include credit cards, insurance, college financing, taxes and retirement planning. Under home and technology, there are moving and home improvement services, wireless phones and computers, and information on how to buy union. There are health care and auto related services, legal and education services.
