Yesterday, I learned of the assassination attempt on Donald Trump. Let me be clear: these actions were abhorrent.

While I have great concerns about the former president’s economic policies and views on labor, those concerns need to be addressed on the campaign trail and at the ballot box.

There is no place for political violence in America. We’re better than that. And we must all unite to condemn it.
