Every spring, we honor the often unsung heroes in education- our cafeteria workers. These professionals make a difference in children’s lives daily, providing nutritious breakfasts and lunches and serving them with a smile.

At SEIU 888, we have worked tirelessly to improve the salaries and wages of our members in food service. One such example occurred when, after years of requests, Marlborough offered the ServSafe certification training and test in both Portuguese and Spanish, in addition to English.
