SEIU Local 888 Statement on 2nd Suffolk State Representative Race

SEIU Local 888's Committee on Political Action voted on August 4 to make no endorsement in the September 1 Primary Election for the 2nd Suffolk State Representative seat. We are extremely fortunate in Massachusetts to have many representatives in the Statehouse who stand up for working people every day. In Representative Ryan and candidate Damali Vidot, working people have two champions who will continue to use their voices to lift up the issues most important to working families. The Committee on Political Action made the decision to stay out of this primary contest and wholeheartedly work as one labor movement to elect whoever is the primary election winner.
